Went to Joseph Foo & Prof. Xiao Yong Design Seminar yesterday with 5 other friends
in that seminar Joseph talk about his work - Man+God. Work that intrigue people to think.
while Xiao Yong talk about the Olympic medal that he design. i like best during Q&A session...

interesting thing i found

It is quite easy to get approval if we ask enough people, or if we ask those who are likely to tell us what we want to hear.
The likelihood is that they will say nice things rather than be too critical. Also, we tend to edit out the bad so that we hear only what we want to hear.
So if you have produced a pleasantly acceptable piece of work, you will have proved to yourself that it’s good simply because others have said so.
It is probably ok. But then it’s probably not great either.
If, instead of seeking approval, you ask, ‘What’s wrong with it? How can I make it better?’, you are more likely to get a truthful, critical answer.
You may even get an improvement on your idea.
And you are still in a position to reject the criticism if you think it is wrong.
Can you find fault with this?

Communication between people

it's complicated with all different ways of thinking

i wonder how a family can survive with each member have different point of view

yet this is the uniqueness of the term call 'family'

using it a few days edi feel more easy to use now

haven achieve any of my 2008 to do list, i think
last semester going to start in 1 more week
still thinking what to do after that...

what meaning do life have?

2nd last semester for diploma

huh
now is already the 2nd last sem for my studies in diploma for advertising and graphic design
however still not very gud in my assigement, having a business managing, advetising campaign(mister potato), web portfoilo and also revamping a magazine. but non of this work well.
still struggling to archive better, hope i can do it b4 its too late :(

everyone has dreams, what is rare is the courage to follow the dream to the dark place where it leads.

i have alot of dreams but i see no direction for me to follow my dreams.
i have no idea which path to take to go after my dream, i m really LOST

is the 2nd last term for my diploma
still worrying about what to do in future.
sees many ppl running to catch up with the economic
which have gone worst day by day...

1 day trip to Malacca

hahaha

2day went to Malacca with Poon Yan, Poon Tim (twins) , Sean
v meet at 8 am at Lrt Station n went to Pudu Raya 2gether
and we hop on to our bus with our ticket (2 way-RM18.80)
and move on at 9 n reach Malacca Sentral at 11:15

and take town bus at RM 1 to A'Farmosa - the red building
we walk around there n found a very nice place...
n den v look for our lunch - target chicken rice ball
after eat v walk again n at 2 we had our cendol u can choose 2 hav
durian on the top too, finish eating walk again
walk walk walk saw Brian(classmate), how unexpected
walk again n saw PY relative, very unexpected too
so is around 3 smth n our bus to go home is 5
we went to a shop n 'yum cha' is anice shop call Hereen ???
it have room 2 rent too
we drink until is time 2 go n we pick a cab 2 Malacca Sentral
n get our bus, the clock stroke 5- is time 2 go!

huh is a hot n sweaty day but is nice n fun too! love it

treat them like how you want to be treat

i see dogs been lock in cages went they should be going around freely
i see rabbit locked in a cages triple their size when they should be running around freely in the garden or maybe forest, because of human demand animals suffer
please for those who want to pet, think before you buy...
don't because of your impulse buy make them suffer
they have life!

visiting HIV homes

Visit HIV home on last Sunday, 27 April
located at Batu Arang, went there with my Sunday School classmates,
from PJ to there it takes about 1 hour.
Upon reaching the person in charge, Mr Alex
talk about his experiences and so on...
So after that we had lunch with all the people there
and we present them with a song, while Thomas plays his guitar

Something I found interesting from a book title LOVE ETERNALLY

Dreams

Recently read something from a book.

Life cannot come into places without dreams.
Life without dream is like body without soul.
Whenever we come up with a prospect,
we should not forget the hardships and defeats
that we ought to face before we can achieve it.
The world is not as perfect as we have imagined and every success
consists of all different kinds of sufferings and difficulties,
strong perseverance and persistency to become successful.
Distance between dreams and reality exist and we need to be
prepared for facing hardships in order to achieve our goals.

However i have a friend who thinks

Dream, is a success to a failure.
Happily lying to yourself.
Achieving an empty success.


I think dream is the aim for success, yet people
sometimes get confuse and take it as a day dream.
